"The Cambridge SoundWorks SoundExtender Outdoor System 62 lets you take the music outside, while allowing the flexibility to add more speakers in or outdoors. The system combines a pair of The Outdoor 62 all-weather speakers, the Russound SS-4 speaker selector box, and a spool of Monster Cable CL3 14-guage speaker wire. Our top of the line outdoor speaker, The Outdoor 62, sounds so good, you might find yourself going outside just to listen to music. They combine the beautiful styling and no-compromise performance of our Newton Series home speakers with the rugged durability of a well-designed outdoor speaker. We use brass and aluminum hardware, stainless steel screws and gold-plated binding posts and spade lugs for long-term endurance. U-shaped brackets allow for simple mounting. The Outdoor 62s feature a 6 1/2"" molded-composite woofer and a 1"" soft-copolymer tweeter, resulting in natural, accurate, wide-range sound. They're also efficient enough for loud play in an unenclosed space. We don't know of any other all-weather speakers that sound better than these. This system also includes the Russound SS-4 impedance matching/four-pair speaker selector. The SS-4 connects one receiver to as many as 4 pairs of 8-ohm speakers, great for expanding your audio system indoors or out. Weve also included just about the best speaker wire you can get: 14-gauge Monster Cable CL3. CL3 grade speaker wire complies with the most stringent building codes. The included 250-foot roll will easily accommodate most speaker placement situations.
