"Sonys CDP-CX455 is an ideal answer to the CD storage question. With a 400-disc capacity, you can load your entire collection. You can custom file up to 800-discs giving each disc an alphanumeric name with up to 13-characters. If you switch out discs periodically, this feature will remember which CDs youve named and automatically display the correct name. Hit List remembers 32 of your all-time favorite songs, ready for instant access no matter what disc they're on. Artist name search allows you to search from an alphabetical list of up to 200-artist names. Labeling each title is easy with the PC keyboard input. Just plug in any PC-compatible keyboard and enter up to 13-characters for each disc. You can sort your CDs into eight different groups. Whether you name the groups by style, artist or ownership (Dads collection, Moms collection) youll have plenty of ways to playback youre favorites. Two jog dials are provided on the front of the player for simple and fast access of discs. One dial selects the disc, the other dial selects the song on that discyou can even see that names scroll by on the display as you browse through your collection. If you have more than 400 CDs in your collection and still want simple playback without having to swap-out discs, you can add another 400-disc changer to this one giving you 800 discs at your fingertips! The second CD changers info is displayed on the front panel of the first changer so theres no confusion.
